diocesan-wide rafFle

In 1996, the Diocesan Board of Education started the annual diocesan-wide raffle to benefit the Catholic Schools of the diocese. Each school receives back 83% of their ticket sales. The prizes and the costs related to the raffle are taken from the 17% and any excess is then placed in either the Scholarship Trust or Teacher Salary Subsidy Trust Fund which ultimately benefit the students and teachers of our Catholic schools.

Additionally, each school may have a booth or booths at the annual drawing, and they keep any profit generated by their sales. This event provides our schools with the opportunity to maximize their profit on a fundraiser for their school and promotes all the schools within the wider Catholic community.

This year's raffle will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Joseph School.

This year's prizes are as follows: 
          Grand Prize: $4,000 VISA Gift Card
          1st Prize: $3,000 VISA Gift Card
          2nd Prize: $2,000 VISA Gift Card
          3rd Prize: $1,000 VISA Gift Card
