THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA & DIOCESAN SCHOLARSHIP APPEAL:
A SPECIAL COLLECTION IN THE DIOCESE OF EL PASO
SEPTEMBER 8 & 9, 2012
The national collection for the Catholic University of America and Diocesan Scholarship Appeal will take place throughout the Diocese of El Paso September 8 & 9, 2012. This second collection benefits two entities: the Catholic University of America (CUA) and the Diocese of El Paso Education Assistance Fund.
The first $15,000 from the collection will be given to the CUA. The majority, however, will remain in our diocese to benefit the Education Assistance Fund, which provides financial aid to needy students.
By providing financial aid to students in need, the Education Assistance Fund is increasing enrollment and student retention in our schools. It is our hope that one day we do not have to turn away any family desiring a Catholic education. Through the help of donors like YOU, we can make that hope a reality.
