financial aid

In addition to being used to collect tuition, FACTS is also used to assess the financial need of families who apply for financial aid.  The Grant & Aid assessment piece allows our families to enter their personal data in a highly secure environment while at the same time providing the service of assessing need in an objective manner. This ensures us that we are granting financial aid to those who need it and allows the school the resources to prioritize families when school resources are limited.  The information collected is confidential.

Financial aid is given annually in the Fall, and emergency financial aid is distributed each Spring.  For instructions, on how to apply for financial aid through FACTS, click here.

The Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso established the Bishop’s Scholarship Fund in 2009 to provide an opportunity for deserving students to attend El Paso’s excellent Catholic Middle and High Schools.  Bishop’s Scholarships are available for a select number of students who: 1) meet the academic and extracurricular requirements of the scholarship application, 2) are recommended by their pastor, 3) are at-risk and would benefit from a Catholic education, and 4) would not otherwise be able to attend Catholic school.   Bishop’s Scholarships are available for students enrolling in the sixth grade or above at any El Paso Catholic Middle or High School.  The scholarship is renewable for as long as the student attends an El Paso Catholic school and remains in good standing.  Any El Paso resident currently not attending Catholic school may apply for the Bishop’s Scholarship.  The deadline to apply is March 15, 2013.  For more information, or to apply, contact the Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso, at (915) 872-8412.
